Merry Christmas
So tomorrow is our first Christmas with our new family member and I am so excited. I normally don’t really like the holiday’s just because of family fighting over you people getting jealous because you spend more time at one person’s house then the next. With that said this year will be no different and more than likely harder than ever with a 3 week old, but I am still in awe of her. All the things she makes you feel inside it will be nice to spend the holiday’s with her. Amber and I can’t wait, it has been a long time coming and we are super excited. She has ventured out to the store and to church already so we are cruising along now with our lives. She truly is the best baby ever. Peace LOVE Joy and Merry Christmas to everyone. Pics will be posted next time.
the eyes have it.
When we were dating and still to this day, My wife Amber does this thing when she really wants something, whether it be a simple arrand whatever she looks at me with those big eyes and then I turn to mush. Well it looks like I am in for many many more times of that as now I have 2 of the most beautiful eyes looking at me every day.
wish me luck…….
she loves her pacifier……
So it’s been over a week and things could not be better. She has put on all of her birth weight and then some. She is now a wopping 6 pounds. She finally started to sleep great at night time and now only wakes up when we wake her. I can already see her personality and just love watching her every move. It is so awesome to see her discover this great big world. She loves the Christmas tree and all it’s lights. She is just the cutest thing I have ever seen, which makes since because she looks just like her mommy.

she is here!!!
She finally decided to show her beautiful face yesterday at 6:16 p.m. First thing in the morning they brought us in to induce Amber. All seemed well until the potossun started and Charlie just didn’t like it. So we monitored all day until about 4:15 in the afternoon and they decided to give it another shot at no avail. So the C section came fast and not a moment to soon. Dr. Kodner did a wonderful job at controlling everything that went on and was in touch with us all day long and we are gracious to her for everything she did. God had the perfect plan though and it all went smooth. Charlie is healthy and doing great. Not as big as we thought she would be but still amazing. It has changed us completely and with her everything is just so great. I hardly slept last night and right now I feel great. So here she is, I will post the final pic when we leave on tuesday but this is one of her first.
today is the day.
So today is the big day. We are truly relieved that it is finally time. They are calling us this morning to confirm our open bed and then we will be off. I just have to say that I already feel different. No stress or anxiety just excitement. Amber is doing great. She has had the most graceful pregnancy and is expecting the same in delivery. We will be delivering at St. Johns with one of the best doctors in the world Dr. Kodner. She has been great to no just Amber but me also. She really gets us and what we want during our birthing experience. Keep us in our prayers and look up little Charlie Butler on St. Johns website and I will for sure be posting pics asap.
surprise!!!
still no baby yet, I know it seems like forever and it has been. She is not really even close, so it looks like friday is the date. She is going to be induced on friday and we will find out times for sure by 7 in the morning. So that’s the story and we are getting pretty anxious so unless something crazy happens Friday is the day.
